Project Overview: The homeowners of this two story penthouse in Miami Beach wanted a modern, sophisticated look, with the clean lines and color scheme of a South Beach boutique hotel.

The living and dining areas of this penthouse had windows overlooking the ocean, and the homeowners wanted to bring the ocean feeling inside. To accomplish this, simple yet elegant furnishings and accessories were chosen, and the floor plan included a lot of open space, which gave them the clean, airy feel that they wanted. As another component of this design, 24 foot long drapes were custom made for this project. These white linen sheer drapes, gently blowing in the breeze, allowed natural light to flow into the space, enhancing the ocean feel. To add a touch of warmth and richness wood floors were added as a grounding element. Vibrant colors were used in a straight line design to further accentuate the modern look.
