Project Overview: I was commissioned to complete this project following a severe storm in Miami which severely affected the area surrounding this home. The storm had caused the homeowner to bring many items from the outdoor area inside. Over time, more items accumulated, and the homeowner decided that he needed help in re-organizing and re-designing his home.

The house had beautiful antique furniture and accessories that were buried and hidden in the clutter. There were sufficient furnishings to transform this home simply using the existing furniture and accessories. Due to the circumstances and specifications involved, this was one of my most challenging projects. The limited budget for this project was used mostly to paint the entire home and create custom-made curtains for all of the windows.

A major task here was the design of a completely new floor plan. The living space of the entire house was optimized simply by rearranging furniture and creating a comfortable flow throughout. What began as a challenging setback ended up as a tremendous improvement in this living space, and in this homeowner's quality of life.
